    Project: Holiday, EBT/SNAP Launch, Amazon Prime

    Overview: To announce their new SNAP/EBT payment feature for Amazon Fresh and reach a wider niche audience to sign up.

    Duties: B2C, CRM, Creative Direction, Social Media Copy

    My Role: The game plan was using relatability and proving value for new customers using SNAP benefits. In the campaign, I highlighted how Amazon Fresh helped make grocery shopping more affordable and accessible for people using EBT.

    Next, I added a community engagement element to the project, fostering strong connections with followers. I included interactive elements like Q&A sessions, engaging comments to discuss the benefits of the service, and encouraged discussions around accessible healthy eating through Amazon Fresh amplified the campaign’s reach.

    Results: The campaign drove significant traffic to the SNAP/EBT information page, resulting in a 20% increase in user visits and over 52k new users signing up. The collaboration not only enhanced awareness but also fostered meaningful conversations about the benefits and accessibility of SNAP/EBT.

    Project: The CROWN Act 

    Overview: To amplify the message of The CROWN Act, which aims to end hair discrimination, across all socials. The goal was to drive engagement by encouraging conversations around natural hair and promoting the importance of hair freedom.

    Duties: Content Creation, Blog, Social Media Copy, Marketing Strategy 

    My Role: The strategy was personal storytelling and authenticity. In a lot of the copy, I emphasized my own experiences as a Black, Muslim woman who faced discrimination based on her appearance, especially her hair. I also utilized collaborative hashtags such as #TheCrownAct and #MyHairMyCrown to amplify the message on all socials and build a sense of community.

    Results: With blog posts, organic and paid social content over a 7-month period, my content garnered over 3,000 shares, reached well over 3 million impressions, and maintained a CTR of 1.7%.

  • Client: Old Navy

    Project: Bodequality Campaign

    Overview: To launch their new extended sizes (up to 30) in-stores and attract plus-size shoppers to enjoy inclusivity in store and online.

    Duties: Content Creation, Social Media Strategy, SEO, AD Copy

    My Role: Being a well-known advocate for body positivity and inclusivity, I aligned the messaging with the campaign’s ethos by emphasizing empowerment, self-love, and the celebration of diverse body types. The content resonated with audiences by promoting the idea that fashion is for everyone, regardless of size or shape. 

    Utilizing diverse and creative visuals was crucial to my strategy. Showcasing models in various Old Navy outfits, ensuring posts highlighted different styles and creating visually compelling content that aligned with the brand’s aesthetic

    Results: Our Instagram partnership for the campaign reached over 3 million viewers and generated over $45.8K in press and media value, yielding over 200,000 impressions and 45,000+ likes.

    Project: Body Type Technology Project

    Overview: To introduce a new body type technology to its suite of inclusive AI innovations—a first-of-its-kind technology that uses shape, size, and form to identify various body types in over 3.5 billion images on the platform.

    My Role: As a creator for Pinterest's new body type AI program, I had the opportunity to be part of an innovative project aimed at promoting inclusivity. My role involved representing diverse body types and contributing to a more authentic and expansive portrayal of beauty on the platform. 

    Results: The campaign generated a lot of engagement, with posts reaching thousands of users and sparking meaningful conversations around body positivity and inclusivity. Through Pinterest's platform, I helped create a space where people felt represented and celebrated for their diversity. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with a significant increase in likes, shares, and follower growth across Pinterest’s channels.

    Project: Black History Month Apparel Launch, Target Beauty, Extended Sizes   

    Overview: To unveil its newest plus-size clothing drop partnering with Black women designers for Black History Month with sizes up to 4x.  

    Duties: SEO, Creative Direction, Copywriting, Organic Social, Paid Ad

    My Role: To showcase and celebrate the collection through my platform, highlighting the importance of representation in fashion. I helped amplify voices of Black designers and creators behind the line, sharing their stories and the cultural significance of the pieces.

    Results: During Target's Black History Month clothing line drop, the social media response was incredible. My involvement in the campaign resonated deeply with audiences, generating significant engagement across platforms. The posts I shared received a noticeable spike in likes, comments, and saves, as people appreciated the representation and cultural significance of the collection.

    Project: Bumble’s Dating Inclusion Campaign

    Overview: To create a social media campaign showcasing their new AI tech to make sure that all types of people: marginalized and POC were equally involved in the dating app experience. 

    Duties: Social Media, Documentary, Ad Copy, Commercial    

    My Role: In Bumble’s Dating with Inclusion documentary, I had the opportunity to contribute as a content creator, bringing my unique perspective on dating, inclusion, and representation. Through this project, I helped showcase diverse experiences in the dating world, emphasizing the importance of authentic connection and inclusivity.   

    Results: The social media post got over 70k views and on Bumble’s socials the project garnered over 5 million views and impressions.

    Project: Financial Education for Non-Profits  

    Overview: To launch a social media campaign aimed at supporting non-profit organizations, with a focus on amplifying their impact and outreach. The initiative was centered around providing financial assistance, increasing visibility, and promoting the stories of non-profits making a difference in their communities.

    Duties: Social Media Branding, SEO, Content Creation, B2C  

    My Role: I developed engaging and authentic content tailored to their audience. I focused on highlighting the brand’s financial services in a relatable and creative way, ensuring the messaging resonated with their target demographic. From conceptualizing ideas to executing campaigns, I made sure the content aligned with Chime’s values while driving engagement and brand awareness across platforms. 

    Results: I led the creative direction for their social media project aimed at supporting nonprofit organizations. By optimizing content for search engines and crafting visually compelling campaign, we saw a significant increase in organic engagement and web traffic. Our strategic use of keywords and storytelling not only improved Chime’s visibility but also helped amplify the voices of the nonprofits we partnered with.
